Eviction Filings and Defaults in Utah

During the COVID-19 pandemic, there was a state-wide moratorium on evictions from April 1, 2020 to May 16, 2020.

The CDC moratorium was in place from September 4, 2020 through August 26, 2021.

Due to a temporary disruption in data collection, eviction filings in November and December, 2023 are undercounts of the likely number of filings.
